To provide educational support, mentorship, and community development initiatives that foster academic excellence, personal growth, and community development in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria as a whole.
To empower students and parents in Akwa Ibom state and beyond, particularly in Itu and Uyo LGAs, to become active participants in the development of their communities and the nation at large. We envision a future where every child has access to quality education, and parents are equipped to support their children’s growth.
Founded in honor of Bassey Udoh Ekong, the foundation carries forward a legacy of community service, educational support, and human development.
Today, we continue this legacy by creating pathways for young people to thrive academically and socially.
The BUEK Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on empowering students and parents in Akwa Ibom State through scholarships, mentorship, workshops, and community development programs.
Our programs primarily support students and parents in Itu and Uyo Local Government Areas. Eligibility may vary per program and will be stated during application periods.
